This excellent plugin allows you to sycrhronise and browse applications offline. Have you ever wanted to read your RSS feeds whilst on the way to work for example? Well now you can because you can use Google Gear to synchronise between Google Reader and your laptop in a matter of seconds.

Google Gear synchronises with the last 2000 RSS feeds you have recieved via a small green synchronise tool at the top of the screen. A status bar tells you when it's done and the whole process takes no more than few seconds.

With Adobe and Mozilla both endorsing this plugin, you can be sure than many more applications, such as Flash and Apollo, will be using it. Google will gradually add all of their apps to work with it.
